Well, hello there…

With more than 10,000 hours of advertising experience, I don’t think there’s anything I haven’t written. Ok, no jingles. But other than that, I’ve done it all: print, radio, TV, web content, blogs, e-mails, brochures, direct mail, annual reports, on-hold messages…On-hold messages? Not a career high point. But if there’s copywriting to be done, I can handle it.

After leaving 9 to 5 behind in 2002, I’ve built a successful freelance career in Seattle because my clients keep coming back (and referring others). They know they can rely on me to deliver copy that motivates people. They know I’m used to tight deadlines, so I can turn projects around quickly. And they know how a few eccentricities make working with me a strange but pleasant experience (sort of like eating Pop Rocks).

When I’m not working, you’ll find me doing creative (AKA unpaid) writing, binge reading, listening to live music (orchestral to acoustic), traveling near and far, trying to master the art of iPhone photography, and winning prizes in baking contests. And, yes, I’ve been known to ply clients with pastries. Just saying.
